Body language tips for best interview techniques

Hi everyone, this is an interview I did with Alison Mau with Radio Live on Friday afternoon. Really enjoyed talking to her about what I thought about Kathy Griffin's first apology video after the fall out from Donald Trumps severed head in her hand for a photo shoot. Obviously this was a shock value photo. But I found her apology someone what insincere and I let you know why here.

I also go into some valuable techniques while in a meeting with fellow colleagues. Keep your hands above the table, especially if you are a female. Women have been socialised to keep their hands by their sides or under themselves when among a group a men. Of course many women do not do this, but some still do. It's best to keep your hands above the table to show you can be trusted.

Make good eye contact, as difficult as this can be at times, it is a great idea. Studies have shown that people connect better when they have prolonged eye contact. Infact there was an experiment where strangers had to make eye contact with each other, which was very emotional and eventually turned into a world wide event. See the info below:

Interview Techniques

Come to the interview without being layered down with scarves, hats, gloves and portfolios, or the interviewers may find you a little 'messy' or unorganised.

Again good eye contact with the interviewers and a good firm handshake is a must. Take a look at the following videos to help you understand how to get this right.
